Main Classes Each character in the game has a main class, only one can be chosen. Your main class is what defines your class in terms of basic damage or healing. For example a Fighter, will have basic attacks and some tools to benefit fighting, these can be useful tools throughout the game, but could be totally ignored later on.

Each character can learn 2 subclasses, and each subclass will dial into the main chosen class, while providing new and exclusive abilities and talents that can be used along with your main class.
