The team page is part of the full release game, so many of you might not have seen this area before. I’ve added a variety of mini banters between party members, which serve as dynamic conversations that contribute to your alignment within the group. Bringing certain characters together can have either a positive or negative impact on your overall alignment, all triggered through these banters and other in-game interactions.
Alignment is a critical stat in the game, it determines whether certain characters will continue on your adventures. If alignment gets too low, some members may even quit the party entirely, which can impact quests and outcomes.
I have plans to expand this system further in the future, but for now, it’s a robust mechanic that encourages players to experiment with different party combinations.
To keep everyone in the loop, I’ve been working hard on these banters over the past four months. It was an exhausting process, but the results are really cool, and I’m excited to fully test everything out.
What’s next? I’m currently developing additional trigger points for alignment. This includes areas that will challenge low-alignment groups, like freezing zones where morale is tested, as well as moments where party members bicker in dungeons, forcing you to make decisions that can either sacrifice or support the needs of your companions.
I’m also considering alignment perks tied to inns, such as opportunities to party, drink, or even pay for certain characters to enjoy some downtime at the brothel. With the core system in place, I’m now back to focusing on adding more content to the game.
Unfortunately, I had to cut a number of playable characters to make this system work without overreaching. The game now includes a total of 16 playable characters, each with unique stats, stories, and class designs. Depending on your gameplay choices, some characters may be missed, killed, or even leave the party entirely.
Looking ahead, I hope to return to streaming at some point. For now, I’m focused on creating new content every day and continuing to build this experience into something truly special.
